Dalton, GA – AstroTurf®, the inventor and leading innovator of synthetic turf, announces Chris Stephens as its new Communications Manager. Chris was promoted from his previous role with the CAD department at AstroTurf®. In that capacity, he was responsible for preparing roll orders from shop drawings to put fields into production. He also worked with various departments preparing maps, graphics, and brochures. Chris’s new role will include sales support, design work, as well as internal and external communication for the company.
Commenting on the promotion, Gary Jones, AstroTurf Director of Marketing said, “I have known Chris for a long time and have admired his creativity, attitude, and work ethic. He will do great things with this new opportunity and will be a tremendous asset to the Marketing Department.”
Chris is a graduate of Maryville College and has more than 20 years of writing and graphic design experience with various types of businesses, publications, and products. He lives in Dalton, GA with his wife Tammy and has a daughter, Emily, 18, and son, Ellis, 13. Tammy is currently the Director of Project Finance and has been with AstroTurf® for 10 years.
