The new field features AstroTurf’s RootZone® 3D3 Blend GT-B system, the first synthetic turf product in the industry to earn the USDA Certified Biobased Product label. Verified through the USDA BioPreferred® Program, the system represents a greener, safer alternative to traditional petroleum-based turf surfaces.
Adding to the innovation, the field utilizes BioBased TPE Infill by Guardian, a more environmentally responsible infill. Made from renewable materials, Guardian’s BioBased TPE not only enhances sustainability but also plays a critical role in reducing on-field surface temperatures, improving athlete comfort, and safety.
