Polytan, like AstroTurf, is a division of SportGroup, the world’s largest business dedicated to sports surfaces. At The Stoop Rugby Stadium in London, Polytan will install the Poligras Tokyo GT system on top of a natural grass surface on a temporary basis. With as little as a one-week turnaround, this innovative move will enable international hockey matches to be played in large existing stadiums and could enhance the profile and visibility of the sport itself. Poligras Tokyo GT is the sugar-cane based field hockey surface that will be used at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and will only be available from AstroTurf in the United States.
