Sports Turf Installs Premium AstroTurf Systems at Two Carroll County Schools

ATLANTA, Georgia  |  SportsTurf.net  |  April 18th, 2025  Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, recently announced the completed the turf replacement at two Carroll County School District campuses. Central-Carrollton High School in Carrollton as well as Temple High School in Temple have received new upgraded AstroTurf field systems.

Previously renovated by Sports Turf Company in the summer of 2016, both Central-Carrollton and Temple High Schools’ stadiums are Sports Turf Legacy Projects, an exclusive recognition for returning Sports Turf renovation projects. After nearly a decade, Sports Turf will update both of the surfaces’ technologies for enhanced durability, safety and performance to better suit these programs by entrusted clients.

The new surface features AstroTurf’s RootZone 3D Blend turf system and Brock YSR shock pad. AstroTurf’s RootZone 3D Blend is a performance artificial turf system that combines slit film and monofilament fibers with a RootZone layer of texturized fibers for optimum durability and better shock absorbency. The Brock YSR shock pad is specifically engineered to optimize safety for athletes during impacts to the surface.
