AstroTurf, a leader in the synthetic turf industry, is excited to announce the successful completion of a state-of-the-art artificial turf installation at Cramton Bowl Stadium. Sports Turf Company, a specialized sports construction and surfacing firm, completed the renovations and onsite work on August 21st. The renovations are timed perfectly ahead of the highly anticipated ESPN event, “Red Tails Classic,” slated for Sunday, Sept. 3. The event will feature a college football clash between Tuskegee University and Fort Valley State University, and aims to spotlight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II.
AstroTurf’s 3D Decade System, featuring an industry-leading 60 oz. of fiber, was the chosen system for Cramton Bowl Stadium’s new sports turf. This advanced system combines slit film and monofilament fibers with a RootZone layer of texturized fibers, providing unparalleled durability and superior shock absorbency.
