NFL All Stars to Play on AstroTurf

Orlando, FL – The 2017 Pro Bowl game will pit the best and brightest of the NFL in a contest for conference supremacy, and it’ll happen on AstroTurf®. Camping World Stadium in Orlando will host the annual gridiron event this weekend, as the luminaries of the NFC face off against the AFC’s superstars. The venue, known formerly as the Citrus Bowl, has utilized an AstroTurf synthetic turf system since 2010.

Massive renovations to the iconic stadium took place in 2014, which is when the current artificial turf was installed. This surface is composed of the AstroTurf 3DSF product, a state-of-the-art synthetic turf system which features slit film fibers and AstroTurf’s patented RootZone® for a surface that delivers high durability and playability. The field is home to the MLS’ Orlando City Soccer Club and has been awarded recognition as a FIFA Recommended pitch.

The Pro Bowl game kicks off at 8pm ET on Sunday, January 29th and will be televised by ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
