Jordan promoted to General Manager, Vice President for Rekortan Tracks

Dalton, GA – Rekortan, the original synthetic track, is pleased to announce Tim Jordan has been promoted to General Manager / Vice President of Rekortan Tracks, effective January 1, 2023.

Jordan has served as AstroTurf’s Regional Sales Manager in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland since 2019. Through the years, Jordan has participated and developed strategy for turf industry initiatives such as sport-specific products and cooperative contract purchasing agreements.

“I’m super excited for the opportunity to be working with the Rekortan team and continuing to grow this side of the business, said Jordan, who first started with AstroTurf in 2007. “The opportunity to work with Rekortan, a world-renowned brand, is something I’m really looking forward to.

Jordan will be managing the Rekortan track business for the United States while working with the sales team, operations and marketing department. He will report to Jay Glasscock, CEO of Americas for Sport Group.

Rekortan is Sport Group’s global track brand. Rekortan was first installed at the Olympic Stadium, Berlin in 1969 and was later used for the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.

Jordan has more than twenty-five years of successful sales experience where he has been developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has been in the athletic surfacing marketplace for more than 15 years and is considered an expert and trusted partner by clients throughout the region.  Over the years, Jordan has participated and developed strategy for turf industry initiatives such as sport-specific products and cooperative contract purchasing agreements.

Jordan is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA.
